2025 Sevens
This page documents any ambiguities and decisions made by Jervis when implementing the Sevens rules the 2025 ruleset. They are described in Spike 22.
Page 9 - Apothecary
In the 2020 variant, Apothecaries only worked on 4+, rather than re-rolling the Casuality roll. In Spike 22, this description is gone, which means that the only behavior described in BB20205 is the one found in the rulebook.
However, that behavior isn't useful for Sevens as there is no Casualty table.
Since that leaves the behavior undefined. Jervis has opted for re-using the 2020 behavior for now.
Page 10 - The Kick-off
In Sevens, deviating the kick-off now uses 2D6 for distance, choosing the lowest roll. This makes it unclear how the Kick skill is used in combination.
Since Jervis already opted to follow the NAF interpretation, which means that we can choose to use Kick after the roll, Jervis has opted to apply the same interpretation here.
This means that in Jervis, Kick applies to the lowest of the two D6 rolls, and the choice is made after both dice are rolled.
